Welcome to the Team - Laura Descampe & Charlotte Dietz

We are delighted to welcome two new team members to FNZCCI, bringing fresh energy, international perspectives and a shared commitment to strengthening connections across the French-Kiwi business community.

Laura Descampe - Bilateral Business Development Coordinator (V.I.E)

We are pleased to welcome Laura Descampe, who joins the FNZCCI as our new V.I.E Bilateral Business Development Coordinator, taking over from Katrina Challet from 1 April.

Laura arrived in Auckland in March and plays a key role in supporting business development and trade connections between France, the French Pacific, and New Zealand. Her work spans identifying opportunities for companies, connecting businesses with relevant partners, and delivering market insights and tailored support for organisations looking to expand across these regions.

She is also involved in coordinating a range of Chamber initiatives - from trade missions and market studies to major events and sector-focused programmes - working closely with partners including Business France as part of the Team France Export network.

Originally from Paris, with strong roots in the French Alps, Laura brings both an international outlook and a genuine enthusiasm for building meaningful connections. She is excited to immerse herself in New Zealand’s culture, environment and business ecosystem, and to engage with the wider Franco-Kiwi community.

Her role is central to strengthening the Chamber’s impact and supporting businesses to grow and collaborate across borders.

Charlotte Dietz - SME Toolkit & Business Support

We are also very happy to welcome Charlotte Dietz, who joins FNZCCI as an intern leading the development of our new SME Business Toolkit, an exciting initiative designed to provide practical, accessible insights for small and medium-sized businesses.

Currently completing a Master’s degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations, Charlotte brings experience in public affairs and corporate communications, along with a strong interest in strategic communication and stakeholder engagement.

She is particularly motivated to contribute to strengthening dialogue between France and New Zealand at the intersection of business, politics, and society. Alongside the SME Toolkit, Charlotte is also supporting business development and providing hands-on assistance across Chamber activities, quickly becoming an invaluable part of the team.

We are thrilled to have both Laura and Charlotte on board and look forward to the energy, ideas and connections they will bring to FNZCCI.
