Meet the Board - Morven Booth, Treasurer

Meet Morven Booth, FNZCCI Treasurer, bringing financial expertise, community spirit and a passion for supporting women in leadership.

At the FNZCCI, our Board Members bring not only professional expertise but also genuine commitment to supporting the French-Kiwi business community. We’re delighted to introduce Morven Booth, Treasurer, whose financial expertise and hands-on support make a meaningful difference across the Chamber.

Originally from Scotland, Morven has called New Zealand home for the past 26 years. Her career has been closely connected to French organisations, having worked with AXA and now serving as Head of Client Services for New Zealand at BNP Paribas. As a qualified accountant, she brings strong financial acumen and a practical, solutions-focused mindset to her role as Treasurer.

Morven has been involved with FNZCCI for many years, attending numerous events before joining the Board. When the opportunity arose, she was eager to contribute more directly:
“I’ve been to numerous FNZCCI events over the years and jumped at the chance to join and contribute to the Board.”

Beyond her professional expertise, Morven is passionate about supporting better financial outcomes for women. She previously served for 13 years on the Board of Women in Super and is looking forward to contributing to the Chamber’s Women and Leadership initiatives.

Morven also brings a love of French culture into her work and community involvement. Through her role at BNP Paribas, she enjoys creating French-inspired experiences for clients - particularly French film evenings paired with wine and canapés. It’s a reflection of what she values most about French business culture: connection, quality and shared experiences.

When it comes to French food and wine in New Zealand, Morven recommends Maison Vauron, a long-standing FNZCCI member known for its outstanding selection:
“Their selection of French cheese and wines is amazing.”

As Treasurer, Morven plays a key role behind the scenes, ensuring the Chamber’s financial foundations remain strong while also rolling up her sleeves to support events and day-to-day operations. Her reliability, warmth, and willingness to contribute wherever needed make her an invaluable member of the FNZCCI Board.
