About the committee
Purpose
Promoting, supporting and developing trade relationships between French Islands and NZ.
Representing and supporting FNZCCI members for Pacific-Islands related needs.
Goals and actions
3 kind of actions:
1. Representing the Chamber for events, conference, meetings, discussions … when Pacific Islands relationships are involved
2. Working alongside PTI , PCF, CCiSM, and NCT&I to:
a. Participate and support existing initiatives
b. Initiate projects if relevant
c. Identify synergies between actions/needs held by one of the Islands that could benefit others.
d. Talk one voice to represent French businesses in the Pacific area
e. Direct and support incoming requests to the Chamber
f. Work on a portfolio of services (internal or contracted) for businesses interested in French Islands markets, or for Islands businesses interested in NZ opportunities.
3. Creating events to raise awareness on French Islands businesses in NZ, and on NZ businesses in French Islands, to create networking, to support bilateral trade opportunities
