Throwback - FNZCCI Climate & Sustainability Forum 2025 (Oct. 2025)

Highlights from the FNZCCI Climate & Sustainability Forum 2025: Decarbonising trade & transport with leaders from NZ, France & Europe.

Merci, thank you, to everyone who joined us at the FNZCCI Climate & Sustainability Forum 2025 - proudly hosted by Beca.

It was a morning of insightful discussion, expert perspectives, and meaningful connections - a real highlight on the FNZCCI calendar!

This year’s theme, "The Decarbonisation of Trade & Transportation", brought together leaders from New Zealand, France and Europe to discuss how we can move faster toward a low-carbon future. Discussions explored how global sustainability regulations are reshaping trade, what this means for New Zealand exporters, and the urgent challenge of decarbonising freight and logistics.

A heartfelt merci to our incredible speakers, MCs and panellists for sharing their time and expertise:

Frederik Cornu · Amelia Linzey · HE Laurence Beau, French Ambassador to NZ & the Cook Islands · HE Lawrence Meredith, EU Ambassador to NZ · Roger Dungan · Simon Tucker · Tara Druce · Kambiz Mohkam · David Maucor · Stephen Forshaw · Karen Williams · Kate Drews

And sincere thanks to our event sponsorsBeca, Egis and Danone for their generosity and help in making this year’s Forum such a success.

Finally, merci to FNZCCI Member La Petite Fourchette for the delicious catering that kept everyone fuelled for discussion and debate! 🥐
