Throwback - Executive Lunch with HE Laurence Beau, French Ambassador to New Zealand (May 2024)
The FNZCCI recently hosted a special Executive Lunch for Patron/Gold Members, with HE Laurence Beau, French Ambassador to NZ, as our special guest.
One of the special benefits for our Patron and Gold members is an invitation to one of our quarterly Executive Events. The first of these for 2024 was held on Monday, the 6th of May, with company CEOs and leadership being invited to an Executive Lunch at Origine Restaurant in the present of HE Laurence Beau, French Ambassador to New Zealand.
The FNZCCI was thrilled with the turnout - another sold out Executive Event! We welcomed 23 attendees from a wide variety of industries. It was wonderful to catch up with regular attendees of these quarterly events whilst welcoming new faces and companies as well. Among those present were the CEOs/leadership from Air Liquide, Baker Tilly Staples Rodway, Bolloré Logistics, Danone, Equans, Groupe Lactalis, Hesketh Henry, HSBC, L'Oréal, Marais Laying, New Zealand Services, SIFA New Zealand, SYSTRA, Veolia and VINCI Construction.
VIP guest, HE Laurence Beau, French Ambassador to New Zealand, addressed attendees and gave an overview of current French-New Zealand relations - a great basis on which to expand with the EU-NZ Free Trade Agreement - as well as opportunities for New Zealand to engage with Horizon Europe, the EU's research and innovation funding programme, and what to expect from the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics.
Guests were then treated to a delicious three-course meal, courtesy of Origine, all whilst expanding their networks, strengthening ties and exploring commercial opportunities.
