Throwback - Executive Dinner with HE Laurence Beau, French Ambassador to New Zealand
The FNZCCI recently hosted a special Executive Dinner, enabling the CEOs/leadership of our membership to meet with the newly appointed Ambassador.
Reserved exclusively to company CEOs/leadership, this sold-out event was our biggest Executive Dinner yet, welcoming 27 attendees from a wide variety of industries.
The FNZCCI team was thrilled with the turnout, catching up with many regular attendees of these quarterly events whilst welcoming new faces and companies as well. Among those present were the CEOs/members of the company leadership from Accor, Air Liquide, Banque de Tahiti, Bolloré Logistics, Bureau Veritas, CMA CGM, Downer, Electrix, HEB Construction, L'Oréal, Marais Laying, Nestlé Purina Petcare, Pernod Ricard, SIFA New Zealand, SYSTRA, Veolia, VINCI Construction and WSP.
Guests were welcomed with a refreshing apéritif and amuse-bouches before being seated and greeted by Thibault Beaujot, FNZCCI President. VIP guest, HE Laurence Beau, recently appointed as French Ambassador to New Zealand, then addressed attendees and gave an overview of important initiatives of the French Embassy as well as its warm relationship with the FNZCCI and the French-New Zealand business community. We were also thrilled to be joined by Valérie Rousselle, owner of Château Roubine, Sainte Béatrice and the Chante Bise domain, who gave a presentation of the wine she generously offered to accompany the entrée.
Guests were then treated to a delicious three-course meal with wine pairings and cheese, courtesy of Maison Vauron, all whilst expanding their networks, strengthening ties and exploring commercial opportunities. From the rising noise level at the different tables throughout the evening, it's clear some great connections were made!
Merci beaucoup, thank you so much, for joining us and making this evening such a success!
