Interview Danone & Veolia - Biomass boiler plant for Danone NZ facility

At the occasion of the French ANZ Business Days, we have decided to bring a discussion about an Infrastructure and Industrial collaboration between 2 French major companies in the Otago region of New Zealand.

During the interview, Thibault Beaujot - FNZCCI President - introduce you to Leon FUNG, Danone Nutricia NZ Operations Director and Alex LAGNY Veolia New Zealand Country Director.

Danone has recently invested NZ$30 million in its Dairy spray drying plant in the Otago region (South Island). This investment is part of a wider plan towards achieving carbon neutrality. This significant, industry-leading milestone will be driven primarily by the installation of a biomass boiler which will reduce the plant's CO2 emissions by 20,000 tonnes. Veolia is responsible for designing and managing the construction of a state-of-the-art biomass boiler, guaranteeing the future operation and performance of steam production, for leading global food company, Danone.
