Martelli McKegg is an a forward-thinking Auckland-based law firm, providing a full range of legal services.
Originally established in 1921, we work with a wide range of clients, including many clients with foreign connections. Our reputation and size ensure we have strong relationships with other professionals, including tax advisers and consultants. Through our membership with Meritas, we have access to 180 law firms in 235 jurisdictions.
Our francophone team are specialists in international estate planning, as well as construction and commercial law and cross-border enforcement of judgments. With the entire firm’s skillset at their disposal, the team can assist with virtually any legal services, ensuring work is done at the right level.
Lee Harris is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and is a recognised industry leader for cross-border estate planning. She has presented to the Nouméa Barr on tax implications relating to trusts, and on various cross-border related matters to the New Zealand Law Society, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
Kiren Narayan is an Associate in our litigation team. She has extensive litigation and arbitration experience, which has included representation at the International Court of Arbitration in Paris. She represents our clients on a wide range of litigation matters, including the enforcement of foreign judgments in New Zealand.
