Throwback - FNZCCI French-Kiwi Afterwork at the French Festival
The FNZCCI invited its members and friends to l'apéro, kicking off a weekend of French festivities, fun and food at this year's French Festival!
It was great to see so many of you keen to catch up with us and network with fellow FNZCCI members during this first event of the overall French Festival.
FNZCCI President Thibault BEAUJOT welcomed attendees over traditional French apéro fare and took the opportunity to present some of our upcoming initiatives, such as Bastille Week in July. Watch this space for more info!
We were also joined by Edouard LE GOFF, founder of the French Festival and well-known Le Chef restaurant, warmly welcoming back guests to the Festival after a long, three-year hiatus due to Covid-19.
The FNZCCI team were also honoured to be joined by Monsieur Jérôme Pasquier, Head of Mission (Chargé d'Affaires a.i.), of the Embassy of France in New Zealand, attending his first event in Auckland since his arrival in New Zealand. How appropriate that it be one celebrating French festivities, food and "art de vivre"!
"Merci beaucoup" to Ed, Clara and the Le Chef team for their hard work in putting together this "fantastique" Festival and for the smooth running of our Afterwork behind the scenes at the bar and in the kitchen.
