Be a precursor and among the first in New Zealand to learn about this global citizen movement!

Wednesday the 30th of March 2022 | 8:00AM - 9:00AM | ZOOM Webinar

What is Time for the Planet?

Time for the Planet is a non-profit company. Its purpose is to detect and finance innovations to reduce or capture greenhouse gas emissions. It does so by:

  • Being a citizen fund, meaning anyone can join as a shareholder from €1 and help the movement grow.
  • Using open-source models via free license so innovation can spread as fast as possible (but of course, the models must be profitable as well)
  • Being a non-profit company: Time for the Planet will reinvest 100% of its profits from subsidiaries into detecting and financing other innovations.

The initiative started in France, but Time for the Planet is meant to be global. Now that it has achieved its proof of concept in France (more than 42,000 shareholders, more than 8 million gathered, and 3 companies launched), international development is one of the main focuses for 2022.

What to expect from this Webinar:

As the Time for the Planet movement is starting its globalization, Co-founder Arthur Auboeuf and International Director Cécile Duranton will present Time for the Planet for the first time in New Zealand to FNZCCI members and friends. Be a precursor and among the first in New Zealand to learn about this global citizen movement!

The presentation aims to introduce you to Time for the Planet and give you the key points about the project, after which Arthur and Cécile will be available to answer all your questions via a Q&A session.
