The FNZCCI Sustainability Forum is a series of events aimed at encouraging businesses across New Zealand to reduce the environmental impacts of their operations through energy and resource efficiency improvements and drive transformational impact on local communities. Our inspiring speakers and business specialists will bring up-to-date insights, bold ideas, innovations, business solutions and applications of the latest sustainable trends.

This series of events is also a fantastic opportunity to meet key French and New Zealand people from these sectors. The FNZCCI Sustainability Forum 2021 is supported by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE).

 

Second series : Building sustainable and resilient cities on Thursday, 10 June 2021

Come and join us to hear about sustainable cities with regards to building and infrastructure, urban resilience, well-being and inclusive growth for citizens. The session will be followed by networking with drinks and nibbles.

 

What to expect? 

Doors will open at 05.00pm. Networking whilst enjoying drinks and nibbles.

The session will start at 05.30 pm and will include:

    • Pierre Ferrandon - Distributed workspace and sustainable buildings, DB Interiors

    • Darek Koper - Transition to zero-emission public transport and the role the country’s first hydrogen bus trial, operated in partnership with Transdev, Auckland Transport

    • Norm McKenzie - Online Sustainability Calculator for infrastructure projects, The Southern Initiative

    • Liz Root -  How CRL adapted the ISCA label from Australia to NZ, making it relevant to Mana Whenua principles, CRL limited

  • Panel discussion

Networking will continue after the presentations with the event finishing at 8:00 pm.
