FNZCCI French Pacific Trade Mission 2026

Explore New Caledonia and French Polynesia with FNZCCI’s inaugural trade mission, focused on export, investment and partnerships.

FNZCCI's first-ever trade mission to the French Pacific, an opportunity for New Zealand businesses to explore two neighbouring markets that remain largely untapped despite sitting right on our doorstep. This mission is about discovering the market, being on the ground, making real connections, and gathering the data and contacts that open up new opportunities.

Nearly 40 businesses expressed interest during pre-registration in June. We're now confirming a focused group of around 15 serious businesses to take part in our inaugural outbound trip.

Flights and accommodation at each participant's own cost, flight guide and group rate options to follow.

What you can expect

Before you fly: Your pre-departure briefing pack: online briefing sessions with a live market Q&A alongside Trade NZ and French Pacific experts on both territories, an export/investment guide for each territory, a delegate flyer with the full programme and profiles, a dedicated WhatsApp group, and ongoing support from our team.

On the ground: customary and institutional welcomes, expert-led market insight briefings, success stories, speakers and roundtables, B2B meetings with relevant local businesses included as part of the core business package, at no extra charge, a business cocktail, one-on-one office hours with local experts (customs, legal, finance), a site visit, and a cultural experience.

The core programme already includes B2B meetings tailored to your needs. If your business requires deeper support like a dedicated market study, a fully personalised prospecting list, or extensive one-on-one matchmaking this can be arranged directly with our local partner Chambers of Commerce (CCISM in French Polynesia, CCI-NC in New Caledonia) on a custom quote basis, based on your specific requirements.

After you register

Once your fee is paid, we'll get in touch to schedule a call with FNZCCI's General Manager and our on-the-ground contacts from both local Chambers of Commerce, to better understand your needs and help shape the programme around you. That’s the moment to tell us who you want to meet, what you want to specifically achieve and we'll do our best to make it happen, within what a small local market can realistically offer.
