Business Development Coordinator - Internship

The French New Zealand Chamber of Commerce and Industry is looking for its next intern starting from July 2020 | Duration of 6 months.

An exciting role exists for a highly capable Business Development Intern to support the Board of the French New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (FNZCCI) by implementing our Strategic Plan. As a key part of the FNZCCI, you will be responsible, along with the FNZCCI board and business partners, to develop membership and awareness of the FNZCCI and our activities, and to achieve and consistently deliver strong business outcomes.

Your creative and innovative flair will see you developing our website and taking ownership of your day-to-day role. This is a challenging but rewarding position that will offer you the opportunity to develop your business skills (and your French)!

You will report directly to the President of the FNZCCI and the board members, and liaise with the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce, in order to work towards the following objectives:
1. Expand the general awareness of the FNZCCI in the business community
2. Increase the FNZCCI’s visibility in France and the South Pacific French Territories, including with Pacific Business Councils, commercial organisations from New Caledonia (FINC, AVEX, CPME) and the CCI from New Caledonia and Tahiti
3. Grow FNZCCI membership numbers
4. Add value to the FNZCCI membership to encourage member loyalty
5. Answer any market queries received
6. Present statistics and market research as requested by the FNZCCI
7. Support the organisation of events
8. Develop the FNZCCI’s website
