Join us, the Team for the Planet community and friends, at the next #ClimateDrinks!

#ClimateDrinks are organized by the community of Team for the Planet in Aotearoa New Zealand, with the support of FNZCCI Climate and Sustainability Committee, and are open to everyone interested in climate action and sustainability.

We will start the afterwork with:

• A brief update on Team for the Planet (TFTP) 🌏 global activities by Frederik Cornu, NZ Planet Leader of TFTP 
• A presentation of Fair Food by Michelle Blau, General Manager of Fair Food NZ

Fair Foodis Auckland’s original food rescue charity distributing surplus fresh foods to over 50 community groups across Auckland each week for free. They keep good food from going to landfill by collecting and hand sorting it with volunteers. Last year, they rescued 753,732 tonnes of food, which is the equivalent of 2.2 million meals provided to the community, thanks to their volunteer crew.

Curious about Team for the Planet? Team for the Planet is a not-for-profit organisation raising $1 Billion to finance 100 companies who reduce Green House Gas (GHG) emissions on a global scale. Through the power of collective actions, Team for the Planet is rolling out 100 Open Source innovations capable of massively decarbonizing the economy. So far, NZ$50 million have been raised globally, 10 companies have been financed (on the 1,415 innovations assessed), and 115,000 shareholders have joined, here in Aotearoa New Zealand and in 100 other countries.
