Throwback - Climate Drinks Christchurch (Apr. 2025)
A Welcoming Start to Climate Drinks 2025 in Christchurch.
It was great to see such a strong turnout in the first Christchurch-based #ClimateDrinks of 2025 on April 30th, even with the challenging weather!
Hosted by the New Zealand community of Team for the Planet and supported by the FNZCCI Climate & Sustainability Committee, the event brought together individuals passionate about climate action. A big thank you to Frederik Cornu, NZ Planet Leader of TFTP, for his insightful presentation on their innovative model and progress.
Team for the Planet is working to raise $1 Billion to fund 100 companies reducing greenhouse gas emissions. They've already raised NZ$70 million and funded 14 companies with the support of 129,000 shareholders across 100 countries.
