Event Highlights | Networking Lunch with Ambassador Laurence Beau
FNZCCI members joined H.E. Laurence Beau for a special Networking Lunch ahead of the conclusion of her four-year mission in New Zealand.
The FNZCCI was honoured to host a special Networking Lunch with H.E. Laurence Beau, Ambassador of France to New Zealand & the Cook Islands, as guest of honour.
The lunch brought together FNZCCI members from across a range of sectors to hear Ambassador Beau reflect on the strength of the France-New Zealand economic relationship as her four-year posting in New Zealand draws to a close.
In her remarks, Ambassador Beau highlighted the important role France and French businesses continue to play within New Zealand’s economic landscape, including through long-term investment, infrastructure and the contribution of French expertise across a range of sectors.
She also spoke about the importance of strong and trusted partnerships in supporting economic cooperation between the two countries, and reflected on the relationships developed during her time in New Zealand.
The occasion provided an opportunity for members to engage directly with the Ambassador, while looking both at the progress made over the past four years and the opportunities ahead for continued cooperation between France and New Zealand.
