Thibault Beaujot - President

Originally from Toulouse, South of France, self-proclaimed “Rugby Capital of France”, I moved to New Zealand a bit more than three years ago with my partner. After completing a Master’s in International Business Management, I started my career in Montreal, Canada where I spent five years working for Boiron, a French Pharmaceutical group. I am currently Brand & Trade Marketing Manager for RB, a world leading FMCG (Fast Moving Customer Goods) Business, managing Airwick & Vanish brands in New Zealand.

As a member of the FNZCCI since 2014, I have always appreciated the numerous opportunities that the chamber is offering to create personal and professional network, increase NZ environment understanding and drive relationships between France and New Zealand.

In my first year as board member of the FNZCCI in 2016/2017, I have contributed to the development of the FNZCCI through the creation and the animation of the Events & Communication subcommittees, allowing the chamber to deliver great networking opportunities for its members as well as become more visible on social medias.

In 2017, I became Vice-President, and I have since supported furtherthe organization and its president focusing on two mains areas: New members’ recruitment & Business development. I have led and contributed to the organisation of "One Business Day in France" as part of the French Festival 2017, our very first Inbound Trade Mission for SMEs visiting from French Polynesia, as well as managed our Business Development Coordinators (interns) in the objective of increasing members benefit as well as generate revenue for the FNZCCI by providing professional services to our members and non-members.

Nadine Plet - Vice President

Category Manager with NZ Healthpartnerships Ltd, , I manage tenders and commercial contracts for the Districts Health Boards in New Zealand and support the strategic sourcing development for the category. It is a very competitive and complex environment with stakeholders in the public and private sectors. We also comply with the Government Rules of Sourcing and work collaboratively with Pharmac.

I initially trained in France as a nurse and came to New Zealand in 1986 to practice nursing. I Set up a French playgroup, an educational Charity, Frenz School Inc. which went on to implement a French-English Bilingual Unit in a public school in Auckland. I qualified in Translation and Interpretation and hold a Post Graduate Diploma from the Business School of the University of Auckland. Following a change of career in marketing and fundraising with large charities in New Zealand I then joined the commercial public health sector.

I am a Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite (Knight of the National Order of Merit) and received the Legion d’Honneur au grade de Chevalier, (Legion of Honour, as a knight). I was elected to the Board in 2011. I was acting President in 2013 and elected at the AGM in 2014. At the time of my election, I said that this will be to allow the Chamber to have financial stability and enough resources to start develop more commercially.

The current structure is enhancing the four pillars of good governance (Determining the purpose,/Participation, Transparency, Accountability, Effective compliance) and it transpires through the results.

 

Madeleine Colombié - Vice President

I am fluent in French and English. Having grown up in New Zealand immersed in both cultures, it is important for me to give back to the local French/ New Zealand community. I am currently working at Paneton Bakery where I get to deal with customers in both languages. I wish to contribute to the community by developing events that provide a strong networking platform that fosters French NZ relations.

 

Anishta Permalloo - Treasurer

I was born and raised in Mauritius and I speak fluent English and French. I later lived in the UK where I studied and worked as a Company Accountant. I then moved to New Zealand in 2011.

On completion of my Graduate Diploma in Applied Business Studies in New Zealand, I started working as an Assistant Financial Accountant in a smaller Chartered Accountancy firm for over a year.

I then joined Staples Rodway Chartered Accountants where I have become a senior accountant. I have been with the firm for nearly 5 years and have gained extensive experience working on a broad range of clients, and acquired the relevant skills and knowledge as a professional to progress further in my career.

 

Helene Toury - Board Member

With 12 years of B2B communications and marketing experience from Singapore to the United Arab Emirates, I had the opportunity to be involved with French Chambers of Commerce since 2007: in Singapore as an active Board Member and co-President of the sustainability and marketing committees; and in Dubai as founder and co-President of the sustainability committee.

I previously managed the marketing activities of Veolia in South East Asia, Middle East and Africa. More recently I oversaw the communication of Walgreens Boots Alliance, pharmaceutical wholesale. I relocated permanently to New-Zealand with my family since November 2017 and I will be joining very soon the marketing team of Chorus.

 

Filza Tariq - Board Member

I have lived in Pakistan, Oman, Australia, and the UK, and I now choose to make New Zealand my home. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Law in the UK, and I am currently working towards having this qualification recognised in New Zealand.

I work as a branding and trade mark specialist at AJ Park, the largest intellectual property services provider in New Zealand. AJ Park has been a member of FNZCCI for many years, and we have longstanding expertise in assisting clients with navigating France-New Zealand business opportunities. AJ Park has a strong affiliation with the FNZCCI.

 

Benoit Midol - Board Member

Originally from Annecy in the French Alps, I have travelled a fair bit before landing in New Zealand. I have studied Civil Engineering and graduated in both INSA Lyon and Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.

I started my career in Bouygues Construction in Lyon, before moving for 7 years in London, still with Bouygues. In 2015, I nearly moved to Australia but got lucky on the way when Hawkins/Downer intercepted me and redirected my career into Auckland. I am currently Tender Manager in the Infrastructure Projects Downer’s Business Unit.

I do enjoy NZ lifestyle, spending time with my family and doing all sorts of sports, As a very keen former rugby player, I will watch closely the three tests in June ... even if I am not sure I look forward to it.

Finally as a member of the FNZCCI since 2016, I have partaken in many events and built a strong network of like-minded Business people in the sector.

 

Rhys Lewis - Board Member

I am an Australian citizen living in New Zealand since October 2016. Today, I am the New Zealand Country Chief Executive for Bureau Veritas (Euronext: BVI), responsible for all activity across our business in New Zealand. I have held management positions within the ANZ region for over 9 years, and am a proven business leader, within the Testing, Inspection and Certification market.

My background is in Engineering Inspection (Technical) and for over 10 years I delivered predictive maintenance servicesto the Mining, Power Generation and Processindustriesin NSW, Australia. After transitioning into non-technical management positions, I studied finance and business at Swinburne University and have lived and worked in various locations throughout Australia.

I am proud to lead Bureau Veritas having worked here for over 16 years and pride myself on building strong and long lasting relationships.

 

Jean-Eudes Lepelletier - Board Member

I graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris in 2004 then worked for PSA Peugeot Citroen in France in Production, Quality and Project management positions. I worked in particular in the cooperations and partnerships division and the opportunity to work with Toyota and as a result I fell in love with Lean Management. After 4 years as an expat in Turkey, responsible for the industrial activities a plant in Bursa, I joined Eurofins (bioanalytical testing). I’ve had several roles in Operations and General Management, mostly in turn-around situations.

I have moved to New-Zealand almost 3 years ago with my wife and 4 kids (ages 4 to 11) and joined our Eurofins APAC team as the MD for Eurofins Food NZ.

 

Marc Dehe - Board Member

I grew up in the Eastern and Northern part of France. We felt in love with New Zealand with my wife when visiting in 2014.

After graduating from Dijon business school I spent more than 15 years in FMCG and 10 years in Paris mainly working for Nestle Nespresso. We moved to New Zealand 2 years ago and I am now taking care of national business development for Nespresso Professional. As business member of FNZCCI I see a great growth opportunity for the organisation.

 

Frederic Boles - Board Member

Executive MBA and Masters in Corporate Law and European Company Management

Fred joined from Marsh in France where he was responsible for FINPRO’s placement across Continental Europe. Prior to this he worked for Marsh in the UK for nine years in a variety of roles including managing and placing risks for financial institutions from Europe and South East Asia.

Frederic Boles is a Managing Director of Marsh. He joined Marsh NZ as Executive Director responsible for the country’s Financial and Professional Services (FINPRO) business. Fred, who has an Executive MBA and Mastersin Corporate Law and European Company Management, joined Marsh New Zealand from France where he was responsible for FINPRO’s placement across Continental Europe. Prior to this he worked for Marsh in the UK for nine years in a variety of roles including managing and placing risks for financial institutions from Europe and South East Asia.

Since his appointment to Marsh NZ in December 2011, Fred has aligned his team’s strategy with a speciality approach of FINPRO products and services. With the changing legal and regulatory landscape (Bridgecorp ruling, Health & Safety...etc.), his focus is not purely on “transactional insurance”, but more specifically on providing advice to companies on their key and emerging risks,such as credit, professional indemnity, Directors and Officers liability, merger & acquisitions and cyber.

I am married to Catherine and we have 3 kids. We have been living in New Zealand since Nov 2011.

 

Corentin Celbert - Board Member

As a board member for 2017/2018 I was thrilled in taking an active part in the FNZZCI development. I participated in the growth of the chamber as a member of the business development sub-committee. Within this small and dynamic team, our biggest achievement was to organised a trade mission for several Polynesian companies willing to implement in NZ. It was a success and 2 of them have started trading since then. This first in the history of the FNZCCI won’t be the last, as we see the development of such services to become the core of our future as an organisation. A second one is on track on the 6th of June.
